Rebuilding Crémazie STM Complex

12/2021

In the summer of 2017, the Crémazie Complex reconstruction was undertaken to replace the factory built in 1948. Located at the corner of Crémazie and Saint-Laurent boulevards, the concept will take into account future needs related to new hybrid and electric bus technologies. Covering an area of 41,000 m² , the project aims for LEED certification. Built according to the principles of sustainable development, the project is distinguished by the following performances:

  • green roofs offering relaxation areas for employees
  • higher energy efficiency thanks to heat recovery systems;
  • providing natural light in maintenance workshops.

This achievement is for LEED 2009 Canada Gold certification.
